It is rediculous! You do not need to force a kid eat. Keep him/her hungry for a while and he/she will eat like a hog! Trust me, it works!

Do you have a picture of it? What material is it made of? cotton, silk or nylon? If  you can show us the picture, we'll understand why you like it. Will you?

I read everybody's message in English. Feel very happy that every one tries to speak English. As an used-to-be English teacher, I  noticed that some of you did not pay enough attention to the grammar. If you want to improve your English, please double check your sentence before you post it. Spoken English does not mean sloppy English.

It is ok that you do not have a picture. Can you tell me its style? Is it a long skirt or a short one? Is it skiny or wide? Plain or with whole bunch decoration?

How about we set up a topic for a week. For instance, this week we talk about weather. A hint: There are a lot useful sentences for different topics in a book " English 900 ".  Recite some and use them. I start here first: It is cold today. It is snowing outside now. The weather forcast says we'll have more snow tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

IT is very cold here .My finger was frosted... i have to take care  myself...so you have to..

Miss Chu, I am afraid only you and me are in this chat room. It is not bad today here, as far as weather is concerned. Yesterday it was -15C and today it is -10C. Not bad at all.  I am lucky that we have heating system in both working place and home -- always around 16 - 22C. Why did you say that your fingers were frosted? Is there any heating system in your dorm? You pay your rent and should be provided with a comfortable living environment. Should you? If not, you have to talk to the authority of your college and protest.

As long as your job is still with you, you'll be perfectly fine.  My youngest son just lost his job, my husband's company is going to announce bankrupcy, and my company is planning to lay people off. So put your feet in my shoes, you'll find out love is not that important, job is more important than that. Do you agree?

I am an old person. I have a job and a family. By accident I came across this chat room and decided to help some young people with their English. Now I am a little disappointed because only few talks. Hi kido, do not just sit there imagining fluent English. Open your mouth and say something. Otherwise your English will never be improved. Time is flying, my today will be your tomorrow very soon. Do something with your English.  Jesus Christ, nobody can really help you unless you decide to help yourself!!!
